Slough Borough Council currently confirms that Chalvey can also be used by Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead residents.
Vehicle restrictions apply. Vans and pickup trucks do not use the standard public HWRC route and RBWM residents with unsuitable vehicles can be directed to the Stafferton Way waste-transfer route.
Will RBWM Bin Collections Change in 2027?
In June 2026, RBWM approved an eight-year extension of its Waste and Allied Services contract with Serco. The extension is intended to begin on 1 October 2027 and run to 30 September 2035.
Existing frequencies retained
The approved proposal is an “as is” service rather than a reduction or wholesale redesign of the present collection frequencies.
