Food waste will be collected alongside existing rounds using split-body vehicles, and East Lindsey says households will be told in advance if their day changes.

- Keep the bin available if a return is expected.
The council can review vehicle CCTV and collection records to establish whether the bin was out on time or whether a rejection reason was recorded.
If CCTV/records do not identify a presentation or contamination problem, East Lindsey says it will call back within five working days, excluding the day the missed collection was reported.
The council does not return. The householder must correct the problem and wait for the next scheduled collection or arrange disposal another way.
